“I extend my greetings to my father and all the Lebanese prisoners in the Zionist jails. I also urge them to keep strong,” Assil Shreif, the daughter of the prisoner Hussein Shreif, said, addressing a solidarity event held by the families of the prisoners at the Press Syndicate headquarters in Beirut.
Assil’s cry expressed the sorrow pricking the hearts of all the families of the 19 Lebanese prisoners held by the Zionist enemy during and after 2024 war in South Lebanon.
The official negligence and reluctance exacerbated the crisis of those families who blasted the government move of releasing an Israeli prisoner in addition to traitors without exerting efforts to liberate the Lebanese captives.
Fatima Karaki, the sister of the prisoner Hussein Karaki, underlined the government duty to unveil the destiny of the Lebanese prisoners and liberate them.
The International Red Cross was also demanded to unveil the medical conditions of the Lebanese prisoners in the Zionist jails.
