Hezbollah launched on Sunday several squadrons of explosive-laden Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) towards the Zionist entity, with Israeli media reporting at least one serious injury among the ranks of Israeli occupation soldiers.
Hezbollah’s Military Media declared at noon on Sunday that the Islamic Resistance fighters launched an aerial operation, using a swarm of assault drones on the newly established command headquarters belonging to Unit 91 in Ayelet HaShahar (northeast of Safed), targeting the positions where Israeli officers and soldiers were stationed, resulting in direct casualties.
The Military Media statement added that the drone strike on Ayelet HaShahar was “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in backing their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the assassination carried out by the “Israeli” enemy in the town of Al-Khiara.”
The video below, circulated on social media, showed the moment when one of the drones exploded in the area.
Another footage showed the damage inflicted upon the Israeli site targeted by the Hezbollah strike.
The Times of Israel reported that the attack took place “near a sensitive defense facility,” quoting the Israeli occupation military as saying that “the device had entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, but drone infiltration sirens did not sound according to protocol.”
The occupation military added that the strike sparked fires and seriously wounded one soldier.

The attack on Ayelet HaShahar was the second strike Hezbollah conducted against Israeli sites on Sunday.
Earlier, Hezbollah Military Media announced that “the Islamic Resistance fighters launched an aerial operation with an assault drone, targeting the command headquarters of Al-Sahl Battalion in the Beit Hillel barracks, hitting the positions and residences of its officers and soldiers directly, causing deaths and injuries.”
It also said that the attack was “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in backing their noble and brave resistance, and in response to the assassination carried out by the “Israeli” enemy in the town of Al-Khiara.”
The video below, published by Israeli Channel 12 and captured by an Israeli settler, showed the moment a Hezbollah drone entered and exploded in the Beit Hillel area in the Galilee Panhandle.
