In support of the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza and in light of the Israeli aggression on the various South Lebanon villages, the Islamic Resistance continued striking the Zionist occupation sites near Lebanon border.
Hezbollah military media issued consecutive statements to illustrate the attacks and their outcomes.
The first statement mentioned that, in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s attacks last night on the Bekaa area, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance launched on Thursday, 16-05-2024, a missile operation with more than 60 Katyusha rockets on the command headquarters of the Golani Brigade 210 in Nafah, the air defense barracks in Kela, and the artillery barracks to support the northern region in Yoav.
The second statement maintained that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 16, 2024, Zar’it barracks, the equipment crane, and the newly established surveillance equipment in the barracks with guided weapons and artillery shells.
According to the third statement, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 11:10 am on Thursday, May 16, 2024, the newly established surveillance equipment at Jal Al-Allam site with appropriate weapons, causing direct damage.
The fourth statement mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 11:10 am on Thursday, May 16, 2024, the surveillance equipment at Ramya site with appropriate weapons, causing direct damage.
The fifth statement affirmed that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 8:35 am on Thursday, May 16, 2024, the newly established surveillance equipment at Addir Site with appropriate weapons, causing direct damage.
According to the sixth statement, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:38 pm Metula site as well as its garrison and vehicles with a drone armed with 2 “S5” missiles.
As the drone reached its designated position, it fired the two missiles at one of the vehicles and the soldiers surrounding it, which led to their death and injury, the sixth statement added.
Then, the drone continued its offensive on the assigned target, inflicting direct hits, according to the same statement.
The seventh statement maintained that the Islamic Resistance fighters on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:15 pm, the espionage equipment at Jal Al-Deir occupation site with appropriate weapons, hitting and destroying the target.
The eighth statement affirmed that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:07 pm, Al-Marj occupation site with artillery shells, hitting it directly.
The ninth statement indicated that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:30 pm, Al-Sammaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfarshouba Hills with missiles, hitting it directly.
The tenth statement emphasized that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:30 pm, a deployment of Zionist soldiers near Jal Al-Alam site with Burkan missiles and artillery shells.
The eleventh statement affirmed that, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the surveillance equipment mounted on a crane on Al-Tayhat Hill at 6:15 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, using appropriate weapons, inflicting direct hits and resulting in its destruction.
The twelfth statement pointed out that, in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s attack on industrial facilities in the Bekaa region, the Islamic Resistance launched an aerial attack on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
“The attack utilized assault drones targeting the military-industrial facilities affiliated with the enemy’s Ministry of War (Elbit Company for Military Industries) – David Cohen Factory in Tel Hai (north of Kiryat Shmona), specializing in the production of electronic systems for the “Israeli” army. The targets were hit accurately.”
Hezbollah Military Media Department issued two statements to mourn the Islamic Resistance fighters Ali Fawzi Ayyoub and Mohammad Hasan Ali Fares who embraced martyrdom all the way to Al-Quds.
The Israeli war jets carried out overnight raids on the outskirts of Bekaa towns Al-Taybe, Khraybe, Nabi Sheit and Brital. The Zionist warplanes also raided on Thursday the southern towns of Houla, Aita Al-Shaab, a car on Qana-Ramadiyah road, Iqlim Al-Tuffah Heights and Mount Al-Rihan.
In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and their valiant and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out several operations against sites and deployments of the “Israeli” enemy army on the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Wednesday, 15-05-2024, as follows:
– Eastern Sector:
1. At 12:00 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the newly established technical systems and surveillance equipment at Al-Radar site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit and destroying them.
2. At 4:58 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with rocket weapons, achieving a direct hit.
– Western Sector:
1. At 11:35 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the headquarters of the 91st Brigade at the Branit base with heavy Burkan missiles, achieving a direct hit and partially destroying it, in response to the assassination carried out by the “Israeli” enemy in southern Lebanon.
2. At 12:00 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the headquarters of the Air Surveillance Unit at Meron base with tens of Katyusha rockets, heavy missiles, and artillery shells, hitting its previous and newly established equipment, and completely disabling parts of it, in response to the assassination carried out by the “Israeli” enemy in southern Lebanon.
3. At 5:00 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ras Al-Naqoura maritime site with artillery shells, achieving a direct hit.
4. At 7:50 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters launched an aerial attack with several assault drones on the Illania base west of Tiberias, targeting part of the comprehensive surveillance and detection system of the air force, precisely hitting their designated targets and achieving the intended objectives of this limited operation.
