A 13-year-old Palestinian child was martyred and several youths were injured during by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. The incident occurred on early Saturday.

The young victim has been identified as Moatasem Nabil Abu Aabed by Fawaz Hammad, the director of al-Razi Hospital in Jenin. Hammad also confirmed that another Palestinian youth sustained a serious injury as a result of the Israeli forces’ relentless aggression.
According to local sources, a large number of Israeli occupation army units stormed Qabatiya, forcefully entered multiple homes, and positioned snipers in several buildings and houses. The invasion soon led to violent confrontations between Palestinian resistance fighters and the heavily armed Israeli forces.

In a statement, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – Jenin revealed that their fighters engaged in fierce clashes with the Israeli occupation soldiers during the raid. The resistance group emphasized their commitment to defending their homeland and standing strong against such acts of aggression.
