Western Media failed in the last few days to take from Palestinian officials a stance that condemns the Hamas Palestinian resistance movement over Saturday’s surprise attack that killed or injured thousands of Israelis, Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Palestine’s Ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot called out the BBC’s unequal treatment of Israeli and Palestinian representatives live on air.
In an interview on Monday, Zomlot blasted the BBC over its biased coverage as he was asked whether he would condemn the wide-scale operation.
He pointed out that he is invited to be interviewed when there are attacks against Israelis, but not to comment on the constant attacks against Palestinians.
For his part, Palestinian National Initiative leader Mustafa Barghouti stressed in an interview with CNN Arabic, also on Monday, that the only way to end the violence is to end the Israeli occupation.
