Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah warned on Wednesday the Israeli enemy and the United States that if Lebanon is prevented from extracting its maritime resources, ‘Israel’ will not be able to extract or sell gas and oil.
In a televised speech, Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that Hezbollah military forces are monitoring all the Zionist platforms across the occupied Palestinian coast, adding that the Resistance may resort to ground, maritime or air capabilities in order to attack the enemy and secure Lebanon’s rights.
According to Sayyed Nasrallah, the new equation is Karish, what’s beyond Karish and what’s far beyond Karish.
After announcing the new equation which resembles his famous “beyond, beyond Haifa” slogan during the 2006 war, Sayyed Nasrallah threatened to “flip the table on the entire world” if Lebanon does not get allowed to benefit from its offshore oil and gas resources.
“Hezbollah will do whatever serves the negotiations in accordance to length and timing,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
His eminence addressed foes and friends, “The maritime border demarcation is momentous and is the sole way to save Lebanon and its people. It is not a psychological warfare.”
In this regard, Sayyed Nasrallah called on the Lebanese competent authorities to benefit from the Resistance power in order to secure the national rights in the negotiations with the American mediator and prevent the USA and ‘Israel’ from deceiving them.
Sayyed Nasrallah explained that, in September, the Israeli enemy will start extracting gas and oil from Karish, “which will make it so hard for Lebanon to restore its rights”.
“If you do not prove your rights before September, things will be costly after this deadline.”
His eminence indicated that Amos Hochstein is not working as a mediator, rather as a party serving the Israeli interests, describing his statements about the Lebanese rights as rude and disrespectful.
According to Sayyed Nasrallah, Hochstein returned to Lebanon for two reasons: US and Europe’s need for gas amid the Ukrainian war and Hezbollah military readiness to face the Zionist infringement.
Sayyed Nasrallah called on the Lebanese officials to rely on the Resistance as a strength card in the negotiations, adding unity and power enable the Lebanese to protect their rights.
“We said that we will not stand idly by, we are following up on the developments and we have the right to make any step at any time,” his eminence stressed.
Three Drones over Karish
Hezbollah Secretary General pointed out that the Resistance flew three unarmed drones to be downed by the Zionist forces because it wanted to make the firms operating in the disputable position know that they are in a war zone, adding that the act was the first and would be followed by escalating acts that guarantee the Lebanese rights.
Sayyed Nasrallah responded to the claims that flying the drones violated an agreement with the Americans by stressing that Hezbollah has never promised anyone to avoid military acts to protect Lebanon resources.
“It was the first time that three drones were flown in the Zionist airspace simultaneously. We have the ability to launch armed drones with larger numbers and various sizes.”
“The drones message and its magnitude say that we are serious and will be gradual in our choices. We will do what’s needed and this message has been delivered to the enemy. We have various capabilities on land, at sea and in the air and all of these are open choices. We will do anything that serves our cause with the right magnitude, at the right time and in the right way,”Sayyed Nasrallah added.
Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that Hezbollah does not care about the Lebanese consensus to identify the resistance acts, recalling that had the Resistance relied on the national consensus, Israeli settlements would have been built across Lebanon.
“Whether our message was understood in Lebanon or not, we don’t care about that. What is important for us is that the enemy gets the message,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted the schemes to push Lebanon into collapse and starvation, stressing that war and martyrdom are better than death from hunger and during civil brawls at bakeries and gas stations.
In this regard, Sayyed Nasrallah underscored the importance of Lebanese offshore resources, which secure hundreds of billions of dollars, in coping with the economic crisis, criticizing the World Bank policies in Lebanon.
Israeli Threats
Hezbollah Leader underrated the threats made by the Zionist defense minister Benny Gantz who had vowed to invade Beirut, Sidon and Tyre, indicating that the Israeli ground forces have failed to advance for few meters in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Sayyed Nasrallah advised Gantz to ask the military units defeated by Hezbollah during 2006 War, stressing that Hezbollah is now much stronger pertaining its military and human capabilities.
Biden’s Visit
“The US fights Russia with the Ukrainian government, people, and army; it dragged all the European countries to this fight,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
“Talking about the two-state solution comes in the context of compliments exclusively.”
Sayyed Nasrallah mentioned that Biden must not demand extending the truce in Yemen, but to stop the war and lift the siege, and to reach a Yemeni solution.
July’s War Anniversary
On the 16th anniversary of July’s War, Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that al the targets of that war were not reached by the Zionist enemy, highlighting the fall of the New Middle East Scheme.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the United States of America is now different from that in 2003 and 2006, adding that Biden’s old age reflects the ageing USA.
At the beginning of his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah felicitated Muslims on Eid al-Adha and wished that it returns in better circumstances.
