Russia called for respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, voicing its concerns about the latest Israeli aggression that inflected material damage to Damascus International Airport infrastructure.
“Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, meeting with the Israeli Entity’s Ambassador in Moscow, voiced Russia’s deep concerns about the recent Israeli aggression on the airport that caused damages to the airstrip, equipment and related buildings in addition to severe damages to the International Civil Aviation” Sputnik quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement.
“Due to those damages, handing over the UN humanitarian aid to millions of Syrians has been hindered”, Deputy Minister Bogdanov notified.
Bogdanov told the Ambassador that “Moscow is waiting additional clarifications from the Israeli entity on this aggression.”
