Yemeni revolutionaries launched wide-scale attacks on several targets across Saudi Arabia in retaliation to continuous aggression by Riyadh and its allies.
Spokesman of Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier Yahya Saree announced a joint operation between Yemen’s Rocketry Force and Drone Force.
Five ballistic missiles and five drones attacked ‘sensitive’ military sites in southwestern Saudi Arabia, Saree said.
The operation targeted a camp of the Saudi National Guard in Najran, and military positions in Abha International airport in the city of Abha as well as King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, the spokesman said in a tweet, stressing that the strikes accurately hit their targets.
The operation comes as part of Yemeni people’s legitimate right to retaliate to the continuous aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under aggression by the Saudi-led coalition in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is Riyadh’s ally. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been killed or injured by Saudi-led airstrikes.
The Arab country has been also under harsh blockade b the coalition which includes in addition to the Kingdom, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
