The chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee of Yemen has reacted to the US decision to designate the Ansarullah movement as a terrorist organization.
Head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi stressed that the US is the source of terror, in response to Washington’s intention to designate Ansarullah revolutionary movement as a ‘terrorist group’.
In a tweet on Monday, Al-Houthi said that the revolutionary group reserves right to respond.
“The US is the source of terror. The policies of the (US President Donald) Trump administration reflect a crisis of thought and are strongly condemned. We definitely reserve the right to respond.”
Earlier on Sunday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Washington would designate Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement as a ‘terrorist group’.
