Meeting of leaders of Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany in the so-called Normandy format is scheduled for October 19 in Berlin, a Kremlin aide has announced on Monday.
“It is expected on the 19th of October so far,” Russian presidential aide Yuriy Ushakov was quoted as saying by Russian state media.
Putin is already due to visit Paris on that day, although French President Francois Hollande has said he may not see his Russian counterpart.
It was not immediately clear whether Putin planned to visit both cities on the same day.
The Kremlin had earlier said German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Putin had agreed on a schedule of future contacts.
