Israeli occupation military launched airstrikes on targets at Port of Hodeidah in western Yemen Monday, with Israeli media saying that such attacks won’t deter Yemen from staging missile and drone strikes on the Zionist entity.
Yemeni media reported the Israeli attacks on Hodeidah Port, with Al-Massirah TV saying they were carried out by drones.
The Israeli occupation army said destroyed the military infrastructure of the “Houthis” in the port of Hodeidah, referring to revolutionary Ansarullah movement.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed that the strikes were launched to prevent “any attempt to rebuild terror infrastructure that was attacked previously.”
“Yemen will be treated like Tehran. The Houthis will pay heavy prices for firing missiles at the State of Israel,” he said.

Monday’s attacks were the 12th wave of Israeli strikes on Yemen since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023.
The Yemeni revolutionaries have intensified missile and drone strikes on Israel since Israeli forces resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip in March after two months of a shaky ceasefire.
Since November 2023, the group has also targeted commercial shipping in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea in support of Palestinians in Gaza, where nearly 59,000 people have been martyred in a brutal Israeli onslaught.
Commenting on the strikes on Monday, Israeli Army Radio said the attacks on the port of Hodeidah “are the same as previous attacks on infrastructure that has been bombed many times.”
It added that the Israeli strikes won’t deter the Yemeni attacks on the Zionist entity.
“Since the last Israeli strikes on Yemen two weeks ago, six ballistic missiles and two drones have been launched” from the Arab country.
