Hezbollah soldiers who are deployed in the different military posts organized Wednesday a blood donation event on Ashura anniversary, giving a conspicuous sample of bestow in addition to their heavy sacrifices in the resistance battlefields.
Al-Manar reporter Ali Shoaib accompanied Hezbollah medical crews to the Resistance sites where the blood donations occurred to emphasize the sacrificial nature of the party’s soldiers.
Ashura refers to the tenth day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar when Muslims commemorate the murder of Imam Hussein bin Ali (P) and a large number of his family members and companions in Iraq’s Karbala at the hands of the torturous ruler Yazid bin Mu‘awiya and his army.
