The Lebanese prime minister-designate Saad Hariri received on Monday the caretaker foreign minister Gebran Bassil at his residence in Beirut in order to discuss with him the latest developments regarding the cabinet formation process.
The meeting was scheduled to tackle the latest consultations pertaining the governmental issue before the PM-designate submits the draft lineup to President Michel Aoun during a visit to Baabda palace expected at any time.
Hariri was tasked with forming the cabinet on May 24. The process has been stalling due to several political obstacles related to the governmental shares and portfolios.
