“Loyalty to Resistance” bloc on Thursday stressed the need to cling to national partnership especially at the current stage facing the country, and to address pressing problems and crises.
The Bloc’s fresh words came in a statement on Thursday in the wake of its periodic meeting at its headquarters in Haret hreik, under the chairmanship of bloc head, MP Mohammed Raad.
The bloc discussed the current security and economic situation in the country, as well as the outcome of contacts to form the new government.
“Loyalty to Resistance” considered that the Lebanese agreement over a unified vision within the government and amongst all constitutional institutions is a “national necessity” to address internal dossiers and face external challenges, in a way that secures social stability and safeguards national sovereignty.
On the other hand, the bloc hoped that the procedures initiated recently by the Lebanese army in the context of the security plan for the Baalbeck-Hermel region would attain their goals in enhancing stability in the area and meet the aspirations of citizens in securing their safety and tranquility through preventing trespasses and violations.
Turning to the current simmering economic situation in the country, the bloc underlined the dire need for a comprehensive, realistic and thorough economic plan to address this predicament.
The bloc also called for ending the Saudi war on Yemen, stressing that the US Century’s Deal would not prevent the Palestinians from defending their rights against the Zionist aggression.
