US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promised Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Sunday that he would recognize Al Quds as the undivided capital of the usurping Zionist entity in case he will be elected as a President of the United States.
According to a statement released by Trump’s campaign, the Republican “acknowledged that Jerusalem [Al Quds] is the eternal capital” of the Zionists, and the United States – under Trump’s administration – will accept in the end “the old Covenant recommendation to Congress recognizing Jerusalem [Al Quds] as the united capital of Israel [Zionist entity].”
Moreover, during his meeting with Netanyahu in New York City, Trump stressed the “military assistance and regional security and stability.”
In turn, the Democratic candidate for US presidency Hillary Clinton stressed during her meeting with Netanyahu what she called “strategic interests between the two countries” in reference to the Zionist entity, and underscored her “support for the big military aids which the United States had promised Israel recently.”
Zionist entity occupied eastern half of Al Quds during the 1967 war, and annexed it in 1980, declaring all of the city as its unified capital.
Most other UN member countries — do not recognize the annexation and consider Al Quds’ final status to be a key issue to be resolved in peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
