The Lebanese army continued on Thursday preparing for launching the last phase of its campaign aimed at eradicating ISIL terrorists in Ras Baalbek and Al-Qaa outskirts, dismantling the explosives and monitoring the militants’ remaining sites.
The army had announced Tuesday that it became in control of 100 out of 120 square kilometers of territory previously held by ISIL after capturing several strategic hills and areas.
