Tens of thousands of Gazans are still returning to northern Gaza amid preparations for a prisoner swap between the Zionist entity and Hamas.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians continued on Sunday to return to their destroyed homes in northern Gaza, where bulldozers have started clearing the mounds of rubble.
The UN special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, said ‘Israel’ must allow tents and caravans to be immediately delivered to Gaza, as displaced Palestinians returning to the north of the bombarded territory have found their homes and neighborhoods destroyed.
“The psychological impacts and trauma are profound, and that’s what we are seeing right now as people are returning to northern Gaza,” he told Al Jazeera.

The UN estimated that 92 percent of all residential buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed since the war began, and hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians have been forced to live in tents and other makeshift shelters.
Preparations for Prisoner Swap
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation authorities started transferring Palestinian prisoners to two jails before their release under the ceasefire deal with Hamas.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces has begun raiding the West Bank homes of Palestinian prisoners set to be released in exchange for Israeli captives as part of the first phase of a Gaza ceasefire deal.
Occupation troops carried out searches and arrests across the West Bank, warning families against hosting receptions celebrating the release of their relatives, outwardly praising resistance, or hoisting Palestinian flags upon their return.
CNN reports that Israel has refused to release two abducted Palestinian doctors, renowned pediatrician Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and Dr. Marwan Al Hams, deliberately excluding them from the ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement.

Preparations were also under way to receive the Israeli captives who are due to be freed from Gaza.
Israeli officials said they were expecting the captives to be freed on Monday morning.
An Israeli official told the Kan public broadcaster that the army thinks the hostages will be back in Israel by the time US President Donald Trump lands in Israel on Monday at 9:20 a.m.
Egypt Hosts Ceasefire Summit
On the other hand, Egypt will host an international summit in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday to finalize an agreement aimed at ending the war in Gaza, an Egyptian presidential spokesperson said on Saturday.
The summit will be attended by more than 20 leaders, including US President Donald Trump, the spokesperson added in a statement.
Trump and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi will chair the event, the announcement added.
