Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem received Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani.
Larijani emphasized Iran’s stance and its support for Lebanon and its resistance, based on the directives of the Leader, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and in line with the Iranian government and people. He stated that “Iran is present for all levels of support for Lebanon and its resistance.”
His Eminence Sheikh Qassem thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran—its leadership, government, and people—for their condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the two Sayyids and the martyrs, and for what they have provided to Lebanon and its resistance. He assured the delegation that “Lebanon is steadfast in the face of American-Israeli challenges and threats,” and that the resisting people possess a high degree of pride and support for liberation and independence. He added that whoever witnesses the courageous and patient stances of the people believes that victory is theirs in facing the Israeli enemy.
Sheikh Qassem added: “Hezbollah is open to everyone and is ready for all forms of cooperation with those who stand against the Israeli enemy, which poses a danger to everyone without exception—a danger to the peoples, the regimes, and the resistance. We believe that this aggressive Israeli hubris has a disgraceful end in the face of this magnificent steadfastness against it.”
