One Zionist was killed, two others were wounded in a stabbing attack on Levontin Street in Tel Aviv, the Israeli police announced Saturday afternoon.

The Israeli dead settler had been moved to hospital before he succumbed to his wounds.

According to Israeli media outlets, the attacker was “neutralized” at the scene by an armed settler. Israeli Channel 14 claimed that the attacker is the Palestinian Salah Yahya from Tulkarm.

The Zionist police summoned reinforcements and cordoned off the scene.

The operation comes hours before Gaza ceasefire takes into effect on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. (Local Time).
