Although the displacement crisis is unprecedented throughout the history of the occupation entity, ending this crisis is even posing a more serious threat to ‘Israel’.
Since Hezbollah started its border offensive in support of Gaza against the Zionist aggression on October 8, 2023, the settlers in northern Palestine have been facing a confusing challenge.
Around 100 thousand settlers left the area and preferred to start a new life in other occupied Palestinian cities; however, they have been continuously questioning the political and military command in the entity about their destiny.
The Israeli media outlets, in this regard, continued reflecting this dilemma and fear of Hezbollah power.
The main questions the settlers ask are:
– Will we return to our houses?
– When can we return to our houses?
– Will Hezbollah fighters be monitoring us when we return?
– Will our government decide a military operation in the north in order to secure our return>
The problem of those settlers is that no one in the entity can answer their questions, which reinforces their confusion.
The potential end of the Zionist military aggression on Gaza, expected to lead to a similar calm in the North, has also worsened the situation of those settlers. Returning to the northern settlements amid the presence of Hezbollah fighters on the borders will lead to a grave fear of the recurrence of Al_Aqsa Flood Operation in the North.
Yiftah Ron Tal, a former commander of the Zionist ground forces, said that holding an agreement on the basis of UN Resolution 1701 is rejected.
“Al-Rudwan forces are civilian dwellers of the villages in South Lebanon, so how can they be forced away from the border area?”
Meanwhile, Zionist analysts have always warned the command against rushing a war decision on the northern front due to the augmenting military power of the Lebanese Resistance group.
In this regard, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah vowed to engage in a limitless fight if the Zionist enemy waged an all-out war on Lebanon.
