Ferocious battles have been reported on Tuesday as the Israeli occupation forces try to advance in Gaza as part of the unofficially announced Israeli ground operation on the 25th day of the war on the besieged enclave.
Al-Qassam Brigades, along with Al-Quds Brigades, the military wings of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad resistance groups, announced their fighters were confronting several attempts by Israeli occupation forces to stage incursion into the coastal enclave.
On its Telegram Channel, Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters hit 15 Israeli vehicles including 6 tanks in several areas where the Israeli occupation forces attempted to stage incursions in, including Erez crossing – northwest of Gaza -, Beit Hanoun, Zeitoun Neighborhood and south of the Gaza strip.
The group said it used mortar shells, local-made Al-Yassine explosive device and other weapons.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Al-Qassam published a video showing its fighters targeting Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at Erez crossing.
For its part, AL-Quds Brigades declared its fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli occupation forces in Erez crossing and Al-Atatera Neighborhood.
The Israeli occupation army also reported ferocious battles in the last few hours, claiming that its ground and air forces hit several Hamas positions and anti-tank guided missile squads.
Occupation Army Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated that Israeli forces were engaging in “fierce, close-quarters battles” in Gaza, adding that “this type of combat endangers our forces and carries a heavy price,” which will demand “a great deal of resilience and patience” from the Israeli public in the coming weeks.
The Palestinian resistance has repeatedly stressed that any ground invasion will be met with harsh resistance and great surprises. On Saturday (October 28), Abu Ubeida, the spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigades, stressed that the resistance views an Israeli ground invasion as an opportunity.
“We want to convey to our enemy that we are impatiently awaiting the opportunity to introduce [its forces] to new forms of demise.”
Continuous Rocket Fire Despite Massacres
Israeli occupation warplanes and artillery, meanwhile on Tuesday, went ahead its mass strikes on several areas across the besieged strip, with several massacres reported in Khan Yunis and Zeitoun Neighborhood.
Health Ministry in Gaza reported that the Israeli aggression on Gaza killed at least 8,525 people so far, including 3,542 children.

Despite massacres, the resistance groups kept up rocket fire at occupied territories in both settlements bordering Gaza and the Israeli depth near Tel Aviv.
