Israeli occupation forces early Tuesday shot dead a Palestinian teen in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed.
It said in a statement that Hamza Amjad al-Ashqar, 17, was gunned down by Israeli occupation forces who shot him in the face during the assault on Nablus.
With the killing of al-Ashqar, the number of Palestinians who have been killed by Israeli occupation forces since the beginning of 2023 has risen to 42, including nine children and an elderly woman.
Israeli occupation forces Tuesday detained 27 Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank, mostly the city of Jenin.
