Languishing and suffering from an unprecedented socioeconomic crisis, Lebanon has started to send indications of incapability to continue baring the responsibility of around two million Syrian refugees.
The ministry of education decided to cease the afternoon teaching process concerned with the Syrian refugees in wait for the international funds expected to tackle a part of the educational crisis in the country.
The public teachers syndicate hailed the ministry’s decision to cease the refugees teaching process, hoping that this would exert pressures on the donor governments.
However, the public schools have been left closed as teachers continued their strike expected to last till Sunday, demanding remarkable pay hikes.
