Hezbollah candidate in Bekaa I district Rami Abu Hamadan who has won the Shiite seat in the electoral district hoped vowed to serve the Lebanese people.
In remarks to Al-Manar on Monday, Abu Hamdan said: “We will uphold trust placed on us.”
“We thank God for the result that we weren’t surprised by,” he said.
Abu Hamdan added that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah has ordered him to serve the people of Lebanon promising to do his best in this regard.
“We will be by the side of people, as a part of the Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc and we will shoulder our responsibilities honestly and by all means.”
According to preliminary results obtained by the electoral machine of several Lebanese parties, Abu Hamadan won the Shiite seat in Zahle, the smaller district in Bekaa I.
