The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Saturday its daily report in which it announced 1015 new coronavirus cases, 996 of them for locals and 19 among the arrivals, raising total to 606536.
The report added that 19833 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 558955.
According to the report, 10 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8089.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
