Bahrain’s Islamic Association of Al-Wefaq issued on Tuesday a statement to mark the UN International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, calling on the authorities to release the political prisoners detained at Qareen jail.
Al-Wefaq indicated that the regime has been resorting to enforced disappearances in the context of intimidating the opposition politicians, denouncing imposing military trials on the Bahraini civilians.
The statement mentioned that the political prisoners at Qareen jail are; Mohammad Al-Motghawi, Fadel Radi, Sayyed Alwai Hussein, Mobarak Muhanna, and Mohammad Al-Shahabi,
