The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Friday its daily report in which it announced 1019 new coronavirus cases, 1005 of them for locals and 14 among the arrivals, raising total to 589597.
The report added that 19151 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 544324.
According to the report, 5 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8004.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
