The Israeli foreign minister, Gabi Ashkenazi, stressed Sunday that his entity moved from the annexation of territories stage to that of normalization, claiming that the Palestinians are welcomed to engage in direct talks without preconditions.

Addressing the so-called “Al-Manama Dialogue” video conference, Ashkenazi said that the new US administration will be supportive of the normalization process in the Middle East.

For his part, the Bahraini foreign minister, Abdul Latif Al-Zayani, called on the Palestinians and Israelis to return to the negotiation table, alleging that the normalization deal between his regime and the Zionist entity sustains the regional security and stability.
