Hezbollah issued on Thursday a statement in which it offered deep condolences to Sayyed Al-Sadek Al-Mahdi’s family, Al-Ansar sect, Al-Umma Party, and the rest of all the Sudanese on the demise of his eminence, asking Holy God to bless him with His Mercy and provide his beloved ones with patience.
The statement stressed that the great late cleric was well-known for being deeply concerned with the Sudanese people’s unity as well as national and Islamic identity.
Sayyed Al-Mahdi was one of the masters of though and Jihad (fight) against the forces of arrogance and hegemony who defended the Palestinian cause as well as the resistance approach and rejected all the forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy, especially the recent deal approved by the authorities in Sudan.
It is worth noting that Sayyed Al-Mahdi, who was the leader of Al-Umma Party, died on Thursday after contracting the coronavirus.
