Large-Scale Israeli Assault on South Lebanon: Martyrs, Wounded Amid Strikes

A major escalation unfolded Sunday as Israeli occupation forces launched large-scale attacks on southern Lebanon, resulting in multiple martyrs and injuries, despite a declared ceasefire agreement.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against towns and villages in the south and the western Bekaa Valley has intensified, with enemy warplanes and drones striking civilian areas and issuing threats to residents.

According to Al-Manar correspondent, the Israeli enemy carried out a series of airstrikes in the Nabatieh district, including violent raids on the towns of Habboush, Kfaroumman, and the heights of Ali al-Taher. The attacks extended to Choukine, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Yohmor al-Shaqif, Froun, and Yater.

In a clear sign of escalating operations, an Israeli drone strike also hit the town of Qsaybeh and the area between Dibbine and Blat, while warplanes bombed both towns as well as the city of Nabatieh. In the Tyre district, airstrikes targeted Deir Qanoun al-Nahr and Majdal Zoun.

Resistance Fire Continues Across all Fronts

Despite the heavy bombardment, sources confirm that Israeli positions including rear formations, border deployments, and areas beyond the frontier remain under Resistance fire and cannot be considered secure, underscoring the escalating cycle of confrontation.
