Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance did not nominate any Lebanese figure for the post of prime minister during consultations with President Michel Aoun, bloc’s head, MP Mohammad Raad said on Thursday.

Talking to reporters while he was going out of meeting with Aoun, Raad said that his bloc has no candidate for the premiership.

President Aoun was on Thursday holding the second day of consultations with parliamentary blocs, in efforts aimed at designating a new PM following his election on Monday.

Almost all of the blocs which met Aoun on Wednesday nominated former PM Saad al-Hariri.
