Forty-two Zionist settlers on Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, crossing through Al-Maghareba (Moroccan) Gate), Palestinian media reported noting that the Zionist settlers were backed by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli settlers carried out provocative tours in the holy site, as they performed Jewish prayers in Bab Al-Rahma in the eastern side of the complex.
Zionist settlers often break through Al-Aqsa Mosque. Members of the special units of the Israeli occupation police regularly provide protection to groups of the Israeli settlers during their tours and attempts to perform prayers and rituals in the holy site.
To facilitate the entry of the Zionist settlers, IOF prevents the entry of Muslim worshipers, sparking anger among Palestinians who regard Al-Aqsa as the third holiest site in Islam.
