The Bahraini regime forces clashed on Thursday with the civilians in several cities, firing gas bombs at them and arresting a number of citizens.
The clashes which erupted on the anniversary of the popular revolution witnessed intensified security measures taken by the regime forces that repressed the protestors.
The Islamic Association of Al-Wefaq issued a statement in which it stressed that the only solution for the current crisis can be attained by a political settlement, adding that the regime has failed to reach its goals.
On February 14, 2011, the Bahrainis started peaceful protests against the repressive measures of the regime whose forces have always assaulted the protestors although their demands centered around achieving democracy, freedom and political partnership.
