As a result of intensive efforts carried out by the army Intelligence Directorate in the various Lebanese regions during the holidays in preservation of citizens’ security, the army managed to arrest a four-member cell affiliated to the terrorist ISIL Organization, army command said in a communiqué on Wednesday.

The cell, composed of four Syrians, was located between the localities of Al Matn and the North. Cell members were in contact with the terrorist organization leaderships.

Following investigation, the four arrested persons were referred to the concerned judiciary.
