A Yemeni drone targeted on Thursday a meeting for Saudi-led commanders in Marib, causing heavy losses upon the aggression ranks.
Yemen’s Arabic-language news network, Al-Massirah, reported that a Yemeni drone hit a gathering for Saudi-led aggression commanders in Al-Labnat military camp which lies between Al-Jawf and Marib, killing and injuring a number of Saudi-led forces and mercenaries.
Earlier on Wednesday, Yemeni forces targeted Saudi Aramco’s refinery in the Saudi capital Riyadh with a long-range drone, “Sammad 2”, which is named after the name of former president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, who was martyred earlier in April during a strike by Saudi-led aggression on Hudeidah.
Saudi Aramco confirmed on Twitter that the firm was hit, but claimed that the fire was “minor”, and due to “an operational incident at the Riyadh Refinery.”
Yemen has been since March 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led Coalition, in a bid to restore control to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is Riyadh’s ally.
Tens of thousands of people have been killed and injured in the strikes launched by the coalition, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
The coalition, which includes in addition to Saudi Arabia and UAE: Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Kuwait, has been also imposing a harsh blockade against Yemenis.
