General Security Chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, revealed that ISIL is still rejecting to hold talks with the Lebanese government which is concerned with liberating the army soldiers and policemen kidnapped by the terrorist group.
General Ibrahim stressed that the Lebanese government is seeking a serious negotiator from ISIL to start the talks, pointing out that the terrorists have not revealed whether the Lebanese hostages are still alive or not.
In August, 2014, the terrorist groups of ISIL and Nusra Front invaded Arsal town in northeastern Lebanon near Syria border, attacking the sites of the Lebanese army and security forces and kidnapping 25 soldiers.
16 soldiers, who were kidnapped by Nusra Front, were freed in December, 2015, and 2 servicemen are still abducted by ISIL terrorist groups.A
