The Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri said on Friday via Twitter that his stay in Saudi aimed at holding consultations on the future of the situation in Lebanon and its relations with Arab countries, adding that all what has been circulated about this issue was mere rumors.
Hariri is expected to visit France on Saturday upon the invitation of the French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Lebanese premier was urgently invited to Saudi on November 2 two days before he suddenly delivered a resignation statement in Riyadh, in a move seen by most of the Lebanese and the world powers as an implementation of a Saudi decision.
