The Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Tehran Wednesday to take part in the tripartite meeting among Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran.
He landed at Mehrabad Airport, where he was welcomed by Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Masoud Karbasian.
President Hassan Rouhani and Vladimir Putin have held nine meetings so far and tomorrow meeting will be the tenth between the two presidents.
Their last meeting was held in the Grand Kremlin Palace, upon Putin’s invitation.
Putin’s former trip to Tehran goes back to two years ago when he attended the third GECT Summit, and which was on top of the world news due to his meeting with Leader of Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
