The Israeli occupation army, in coordination with Shin Bet security agency, carried out precise strikes on the headquarters and residences of Hamas senior officials in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Loud explosions rocked Doha with reports indicating that the Israeli enemy struck the target with 12 missiles in the operation named “The Peak of Fire”.
Hamas announced that the Israeli attack on Doha targeted the group’s negotiation team discussing the US proposal pertaining to Gaza ceasefire. Later on, the resistance group confirmed, in a statement, the failure of the attack.
“The Zionist occupation’s treacherous attempt to assassinate the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha, Qatar, today is a heinous crime, a blatant aggression, and a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws. This crime represents an attack on the sovereignty of the brotherly state of Qatar, which, along with the brotherly state of Egypt, plays an important and responsible role in mediating efforts to stop the aggression and reach an agreement to ceasefire and exchange prisoners. This reveals once again the criminal nature of the occupation and its desire to undermine any chances of reaching an agreement.
We confirm the enemy’s failure to assassinate the brothers in the negotiating delegation, while some of our martyred brothers ascended to the highest heavens, including:
– Martyr Jihad Labad (Abu Bilal) – Director of Dr. Khalil al-Hayya’s office
– Martyr Hamam al-Hayya (Abu Yahya) – Son of Dr. Khalil al-Hayya
– Martyr Abdullah Abdul-Wahid (Abu Khalil) – Escort
– Martyr Momen Hassouna (Abu Omar) – Escort
– Martyr Ahmed al-Mamlouk (Abu Malik) – EscortWe also mourn the martyr Warrant Officer Badr Saad Muhammad al-Hamidi, a member of the Qatari internal security forces (Lekhwia). May God have mercy on them and grant them paradise.
The targeting of the negotiating delegation, at a time when the latest American proposal by President Donald Trump is being discussed, confirms beyond doubt that Netanyahu and his government do not want to reach any agreement and are deliberately seeking to abort all opportunities and foil international efforts, disregarding the lives of their captives with the resistance, the sovereignty of states, and the security and stability of the region.
We hold the US administration jointly responsible with the occupation for this crime, due to its ongoing support for the aggression and the occupation’s crimes against our people.
This crime proves that the Zionist occupation is a looming danger to the region and the world, and that Netanyahu is trying to erase our national cause and the rights of our people, pushing them towards forced displacement, and continuing his criminal plans for extermination, ethnic cleansing, starvation, and displacement.
We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), call on the world’s nations, the United Nations, and all living forces and free consciences to condemn this criminal aggression against the brotherly state of Qatar and take urgent action to pressure the occupation to stop its war of extermination and ethnic cleansing, and to support our Palestinian people’s legitimate right to freedom and self-determination.
The cowardly assassination attempt will not change our clear positions and demands, which are: an immediate ceasefire, complete withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, a genuine prisoner exchange, and aid and reconstruction for our people. We affirm that these terrorist crimes will not undermine the determination of our movement and leadership, and will not deter us from adhering to our people’s national rights and continuing the path of resistance until the occupation is lifted from our land and our independent Palestinian state is established, with Jerusalem as its capital.”
Qatar also announced the suspension of the ceasefire negotiation efforts, knowing that it has been mediating all the deals between the Palestinian group and the Zionist enemy.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the attack is an independent Israeli operation, adding that Tel Aviv assumes the responsibility of all its repercussions.

The US embassy in Qatar has cancelled security alerts for its personnel in Doha following Israeli attack.
“US Embassy Doha has lifted all restrictions on its personnel. US citizens are advised that the previous security alert is no longer in effect and the shelter-in-place has been lifted,” the embassy said in a social media post.
The Trump administration was notified beforehand about the attack, two US officials told CNN.
Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee criticizes the Israeli strike in Doha, Quater, calling it “unhelpful.” Shaheen says the U.S. has a real opportunity in the Middle East region. “It’s unfortunate that Israeli bombed Doha, one of our allies.
The Islamic Jihad movement affirmed that the criminal Zionist entity’s targeting of a meeting of leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in the Qatari capital, Doha, is a fully criminal act that violates all humanitarian standards, values, and the most basic international laws and norms—without even considering that Doha is itself hosting the delegation of the same criminal entity for negotiations.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has voiced solidarity with Qatar after the “unlawful and heinous” Israeli attack on a Hamas delegation in Doha.
“This act of aggression by Israel is totally unjustified, a brazen violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar, and constitutes a most dangerous provocation that could imperil regional peace and stability,” Sharif said in a social media post.
“Pakistan stands firmly with the State of Qatar, as well as with the people of Palestine against Israel’s aggression.”
Morocco, which has formal diplomatic ties with ‘Israel’, also condemned the attack via its Foreign Ministry, expressing “full support” for Qatar.
