Israeli occupation has announced preparations to forcibly evacuate Palestinians from the so-called “combat zones” in Gaza City, amid continuous bombardment and deadly famine.
Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Sunday that 47 people have been martyred and 226 others have been injured by Israeli attacks in past 24 hours.
Medical sources in the besieged enclave said among the people martyred on Sunday, 21 aid seekers and seven in an Israeli attack on Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City.
The Palestinian ministry said that the death toll from famine and malnutrition rose to 251, including 110 children.
It put the death toll of the brutal Israeli war since October 2023 at 61,944, adding that the number of injured reached 155,886.

Forced Displacement
Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli occupation military announced it would move Palestinians to the southern Gaza Strip ahead of a renewed offensive.
The announcement came days after the Israeli occupation said it would launch an offensive to take control of northern Gaza City.
The Israeli military agency in charge of civilian affairs in the Palestinian territories, known as COGAT, said that the supply of tents to Gaza would resume on Sunday.
It said that the shelter equipment would be transported via the Karem Abu Salem crossing by the United Nations and international aid organizations after inspection by Israeli Defense Ministry personnel.

Hamas: A New Wave of Genocide
For its part, Hamas Palestinian resistance group said Israeli Gaza relocation plan constitutes a “new wave of genocide and displacement” for hundreds of thousands of the enclave’s residents.
“The plans to occupy Gaza and displace its population are a major war crime that reflects the occupation’s disregard for international and humanitarian laws,” a statement on Telegram said.
The group said the planned deployment of tents and other shelters by Israel in the southern Gaza Strip was a “blatant deception” to cover up its displacement plan.
Political and military support from the US “provides the green light for the occupation to continue its crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing”, according to Hamas’s statement.
