Despite the appalling atrocities committed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, especially those at Al-Shifa complex, the resistance is still fine and able to reshape its ranks, a source within the resistance told Al-Akhbar daily on Monday.
The source didn’t underestimate the implications of the brutal Israeli raid on the medical complex which lies west of Gaza City. However, he stressed that dealt with the current situation and was able to reshape its ranks.
“Nobody should underestimate the size of the infiltration carried out by the enemy army at Al-Shifa Hospital, nor underestimate the importance of the figures who were arrested or executed. However, the resistance and its resilient structure don’t rely on one-man theory,” the source told the Lebanese newspaper.
“The resistance dealt with the current situation and was able to reshape its ranks, given the possibility that the enemy would obtain new information as a result of the investigation of the detainees,” the source added.
“The good conduct, on both levels of battlefield and information, indicates that the resistance is still fine, and that all the current losses can be absorbed and coexisted with.”

Al-Akhbar’s Youssef Fares, based in Gaza, reported meanwhile, that the resistance expanded in the last two days its operations in several areas across Gaza, especially in the vicinity of Al-Shifa.
“The resistance carried out during the past 48 hours dozens of combat missions, with the area around Al-Shifa was the most prominent focus of the fighting,” the reporter said.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance movement announced that its fighters targeted an infantry force that was positioned in a building near the hospital, with a TBG shell, inflicting casualties among its members. The group also declared that the resistance fighters targeted an Israeli troop carrier and three Merkava tanks in the area.
Al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad’s military wing, also announced that its fighters engaged against Israeli occupation troops in the area surrounding Al-Shifa, adding that the fighters managed to destroy an Israeli tank as they employed a guided missile in the region south of the hospital.
Rockets on Ashdod
On the other hand, Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighter fired a barrage or rockets on the occupied city of Ashdod.
Israeli media reported sirens were activated in Ashdod, noting that rockets were launched on the city for first time in over two months.
Videos circulated on social media showed the fired rockets over Ashdod.
