Lebanon House Speaker, Nabih Berri, announced three negations, “No to extending the parliamentary mandate, no to 1960 law, no to vacuum.”
Speaker Berri’s stance came in the context of Wednesday parliamentary gathering.
Berri called upon the government to haste to discuss law drafts and approve on a new law to refer it thereafter to the Parliament.
The Speaker voiced support to an electoral law based on the proportional system. He also stressed the necessity to approve the salaries scale.
