Yemeni Armed Forces stressed on Friday that the US-UK aggression will not go unpunished, affirming Sanaa’s unwavering support to Palestine and Gaza by emphasizing that the offensive won’t deter Yemen from going ahead with the blockade on ships bound for the Zionist entity in the Red Sea.
In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, said the US and the UK staged a brutal aggression against Yemen with 73 airstrikes targeting the capital, Sanaa, and several governorates.
The joint aggression claimed five martyrs and injured six others of the Yemeni Armed Forces, the, spokesman added.
He stressed the US and the UK “bear full responsibility for their criminal aggression against our Yemeni people, and it won’t go unanswered.”
Brig. Gen. Saree warned that “Yemen won’t hesitate to target sources of threat and all hostile targets in the land the sea in defense of the national sovereignty and independence.”
Meanwhile, the spokesperson affirmed that “this brutal aggression will not dissuade Yemen from its position to support the oppressed people of Palestine.”
Brig. Gen. Saree then said it clear: “We affirm our decision to go ahead with preventing Israeli ships or those bound for ports in occupied Palestine from navigation in both the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea.
