Palestinian resistance groups resumed fighting on Friday after the temporary truce expired and the Israeli occupation renewed the brutal aggression on Gaza.
Palestinian resistance groups pounded Israeli settlements bordering Gaza with salvoes of rockets, in retaliation to the aggression.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance movement, announced its fighters fired rockets on Sderot, Ashkelon, Beersheba and other settlements in Gaza envelope.
For their part, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad resistance group, as well as Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades said their fighters pounded Gaza envelope settlements.
Israeli media reported that dozens of rockets were fired from Gaza towards the occupied territories. It added that several buildings were damaged by the rocket fire in some settlements in Gaza envelope.
The Israeli army said that 5 soldiers were injured by mortar shell fired from Gaza towards the southern settlement of Nirim.
On the other hand, the Israeli aggression has claimed lives of 180 Gazans since end of truce.
Ground Battles
Meanwhile, the resistance forces have been engaged in fierce clashes with occupation forces in several fronts across the northern Gaza Strip, including the Tal Al-Hawa front, southwest of the Gaza city.
Al-Qassam Brigades said its fighters hit an Israeli tank and a vehicle with projectiles including the Tandem-charge Yassine projectile. It also announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli gathering in northwestern Gaza with mortar shells.

For its part, Al-Quds Brigades’ fighters targeted Israeli gathering in Netzarim front and downed an Israeli Skylark drone which was operating over central Gaza Strip.
