Head of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad stressed that Hezbollah will remain committed to its stance pertaining the presidential elections in Lebanon.
Addressing Hezbollah Central Ashura Ceremony in Tyre City, MP Raad hoped the some political parties abandon their negative stances which hinder the vote and oppose the national interests.
MP Raad indicated that there are efforts being exerted to reach a certain agreement among the various parties regarding the presidential elections, hoping that those efforts reach their goal.
MP Raad also stressed that Hezbollah is ready to engage in talks with other political parties to convince them about the veracity of its presidential choice, which serves the interest of all the Lebanese people.
Hezbollah and Amal Movement had announced nomination of Head of Marada Movement Sleiman Franiyeh for presidency; however, the Free Patriotic Movement rejection of the nomination, prevented the alliance from winning the presidential elections. The opposing forces and blocs nominated several figures without being able to emerge victorious from the presidential battle.
