Accordingly, a free entry was granted to the Lebanese visitors, knowing that Lebanon had cancelled the visa requirements for the Iraqis around six months area.
Director of Iraqi Media Network in Lebanon and the Levant, Amin Nasser, told Al-Manar that the Iraqi decision reflects keenness on supporting the Lebanese people, adding that the Iraqi prime minister Mohammad Al-Sudani showed interest in reducing the costs of the religious tourism specifically.
It is worth noting that the Lebanese visitors used to pay $52 as a visa fee to enter Iraq. Thus, Lebanese visitors of the Holy Shrines in Iraq will benefit from the new Iraqi decision.
