Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amirabdollahian said on Wednesday that any possible statement by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be of no use.
Amirabdollahian made the remarks during a phone conversation with his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.
The two foreign ministers discussed the latest developments over the talks on lifting the US unilateral sanctions on Tehran.
Amirabdollahian underlined Iran’s adherence to dialogue for the removal of sanctions and said that the success of talks requires the US focus on realism and its resolve in the course of the talks.
He once again stressed Iran’s determination and goodwill to find a good, strong and sustainable deal.
The Omani foreign minister, for his part, appreciated Iran’s constructive role in the course of talks, urging the need for further efforts by all the sides involved so that months of negotiations will yield fruit.
