Head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad stressed that honest is the main trait Lebanese officials should have while dealing with the current situation in Lebanon.
During a condolence ceremony in south Lebanon, MP Raad said the problem in Lebanon “is that some assume they can hold sway at one time.”
“Neither through show off, nor through deception they can convince people. I order to convince people they must be honest and sincere.”
“Some promise people that electricity and medicine will be secured. The official must be honest with his people,” MP Raad said in remarks carried by Al-Manar.
He stressed importance of forming the new government in order to cope with the current crisis, noting that there is not time to spare.
“If some don’t want to designate a PM, others don’t want to take part in the government, while others oppose only to spare time… Then who will shoulder the responsibility and deal with the crises?”
“We all have to fasten the formation of a government in order to achieve what is possible and handle with the pressing issues.”
