President Michel Aoun signed on Saturday decree number 23 which invites the Parliament to an exceptional contract that extends from January 9 to March 20.

The second article of said decree stipulated that the work of the exceptional contract would focus on project laws and suggestions for legislative elections, general budget projects, and others.

Aoun and PM Saad Hariri agreed to said exceptional sessions as a temporary status until the first regular session of the House of Representatives began.
