Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah received Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Beirut.
In a statement on Friday morning, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office announced that Sayyed Nasrallah received the top Iranian diplomat and the accompanying delegation.
Hezbollah S.G. and Amir Abdollahian tackled latest political developments in Lebanon and the region, the statement read.
Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad-Jalal Firouznia attended the meeting with Sayyed Nasrallah, the statement added.
The Iranian FM arrived on Thursday in Beirut, where he met several Lebanese officials including Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Speaker Nabih Berri and Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib.
In his meetings, Amir Abdollahian highlighted friendly ties with Lebanon, reiterating the Islamic Republic’s offer to establish power plants in the country.
